As a community of professionals, we have a responsibility to help subsequent generations who may not be as fortunate as we may have been. After all wasn’t it a great Indian – Mahatma Gandhi – who said "Be the change you want to see in the world?" Be the change…. Since 1998, the NetIP-NY Educational Resources Fund has been helping South Asian high school students in the tri-state area achieve their dreams of a higher education with cash scholarships in the amount of $1,000 or more. To date, our organization has helped more than 20 high school students move one step closer to their dreams. Over its 10-year history, NetIP-NY has raised more than $35,000 in scholarships. This money is raised through entrance fees to events such as our Entrepreneurship/Leadership Series, BC Thursdays, and the 10th Anniversary Gala, as well as generous individual and corporate donations. Past sponsors of our Scholarship Awards Program have included Merrill Lynch, Metlife, Western Union, ICICI, and IBM. Click here for a list of past recipients.
